Leathena is a Toronto-based startup that celebrates the art of craftsmanship through modern sophistication. This project focused on building a refined and timeless brand identity that reflects elegance, quality, and serenity. From brand positioning to visual development, we created a cohesive identity system that includes logo design, colour palette, and packaging concept. The result captures Leathena’s essence—where tradition meets contemporary design, and every piece embodies quiet confidence, artistry, and enduring beauty.


Logo Design and Lock-up
We designed the Leathena logo to embody the brand’s harmony between craftsmanship and connection. Inspired by the gesture of two hands meeting where the fourth and little fingers touch, the mark symbolizes care, unity, and artistry. Within this elegant form, the letter “L” subtly emerges, intertwined with the shape of a needle. This refined integration represents Leathena’s devotion to handcrafted leatherwork, reflecting tradition, precision, and timeless sophistication in one cohesive symbol.
Brand Attributes and Colour Palette
Leathena’s colour palette was developed to express the brand’s refined and tranquil character. Deep blue evokes trust, serenity, and craftsmanship, while gold introduces warmth, sophistication, and understated luxury. Together, these tones create a polished and balanced visual language that mirrors Leathena’s values where modern elegance meets timeless artistry.
Social Media Design
The Unity Medical Healthcare social media design was created to highlight accessibility, patient engagement, and trust. Using a calming blue palette and clean typography, the visuals convey clarity and professionalism while maintaining a friendly, approachable tone. Content themes include healthcare tips, service highlights, and mobile app promotions, ensuring patients feel informed and connected. By combining lifestyle imagery with simple iconography, the designs reinforce the brand’s role as a modern, community-focused healthcare centre and build trust across digital touchpoints.

To enrich the brand’s visual identity, we created a custom pattern featuring vintage-style illustrations of traditional leather making tools. Each tool was carefully illustrated by hand to reflect the craftsmanship and authenticity at the heart of Leathena. Rendered in deep blue and gold tones, the pattern captures the spirit of artisanal work and timeless elegance. It adds a distinctive, character-rich layer to packaging, social media, and brand materials, reinforcing Leathena’s commitment to tradition, luxury, and refined artistry.
